Carmichael Canadian Landscape Exhibition, Orillia, Ontario

Carmichael Canadian Landscape Exhibition, Orillia, Ontario

I have a projection piece that was accepted into this exhibition in Orillia.

September 10 — October 19, 2013

Reception: Thursday, September 12, 7–9pm

The Carmichael Canadian Landscape Exhibition has become a premiere show on Canadian landscape art. The Orillia Museum of Art and History (OMAH) put out a call to artists, encouraging submissions that embraced, challenged or otherwise addressed existing artistic approaches to Canadian landscape. This year’s jury received an overwhelming number of works and has delivered the most diverse, multi-media and challenging show in the Exhibition’s history.

Be sure to come on opening night for Canuxploitative food, music, and to see the presentation of the $2000 Carmichael prize. Stay a while to see exceptionally skilled, fun, serious and perplexing work.
