View Finder Stage Set

The picture below is the stage set designed and constructed for the Propeller Dance production entitled View Finder at Arts Court Theatre in Ottawa. The two mirrored pieces to the left of the image are designed to be picked up and used by the dancers during the production. To give a sense of scale, the mirrored pieces on the stage are 22 feet across.

As previously mentioned in this blog, I built the set for Propeller Dance’s “ViewFinder” Performance at Arts Court Theatre in Ottawa. Renata Soutter and Alan Shain were interviewed this morning on CBC Radio 1 in Ottawa.

Canada Dance Festival Performance Review

Upcoming Workshop at Earthdance

I will be taking The Sense of Perception – In and Through the Dancing Body with Bonny Bainbridge-Cohen and Lisa Nelson at Earthdance in near Northhampton, Massachusetts from October 8 to October 12. This is a great opportunity to work with these people together; different approaches to the same goal.
